You don't need a first-class ticket to access O'Hare's airport lounges. Here are all the ways to get in.
Priority Pass Lounges at O'Hare
Priority Pass opens doors to multiple lounges at O'Hare including the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse (Terminal 1) and several partner locations. Annual membership runs $469 for unlimited visits or $99 + $35 per visit. Many premium credit cards include Priority Pass Select membership at no additional cost.
Credit Card Lounge Access Programs
The Capital One Venture X, Chase Sapphire Reserve, and Amex Platinum all include Priority Pass. The Amex Centurion Lounge in Terminal 3 (Concourse G) is considered the best lounge at O'Hare — free food, craft cocktails, shower suites, and workspace. Access requires an Amex Platinum or Centurion card. United Club access comes with United Club memberships ($650/year) or United Club Infinite Card.
Day Pass Options by Terminal
United Club sells day passes for $59 at the door. The new Capital One Lounge in Terminal 3 offers day passes when available. Some lounges allow day pass purchase through apps like LoungeBuddy. Terminal 5 has the SAS Lounge and Swiss Lounge, both accessible via Priority Pass.
Are O'Hare Lounges Worth It?
For frequent travelers, absolutely. For occasional flyers, a day pass makes sense for layovers over 2 hours. But if you want to skip the airport entirely, arrive just before boarding with a car service that gets the timing right. Our drivers know exactly when to drop you at O'Hare so you clear security and walk straight to the gate.
