Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking transportation services with Chicago Airport Black Car Service (operated by Royal Carriage Limousine), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

2. Service Description

We provide luxury ground transportation services in the Chicago metropolitan area, including:

• Airport transfers to/from O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) airports
• Point-to-point transportation
• Hourly chauffeur services
• Corporate transportation
• Special event transportation

3. Reservations and Booking

• Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of booking confirmation
• Accurate flight information must be provided for airport pickups
• Changes to reservations should be made as early as possible
• We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion

4. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are quoted in US dollars
• Quoted rates include the base fare for specified route and vehicle
• Additional charges may apply for: wait time, extra stops, tolls, parking fees, and after-hours service
• Payment is due at time of booking unless otherwise arranged for corporate accounts
• Gratuity is not included and is at the passenger's discretion (15-20% recommended)

5. Cancellation Policy

For special events, weddings, and large groups, different cancellation terms may apply as specified in your booking confirmation.

6. Wait Time Policy

Airport Pickups:

• Domestic flights: 30 minutes free wait time from actual landing
• International flights: 60 minutes free wait time from actual landing
• Additional wait time: $25 per 15-minute increment

Other Pickups:

• 15 minutes free wait time from scheduled pickup time
• Additional wait time: $25 per 15-minute increment

7. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers agree to:

• Provide accurate contact and flight information
• Be ready at the scheduled pickup time
• Treat the vehicle and driver with respect
• Refrain from smoking in vehicles
• Use seat belts as required by Illinois law
• Ensure children are properly restrained in appropriate car seats
• Not transport illegal substances or weapons

8. Vehicle Damage and Cleaning

Passengers are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning required due to:

• Spills, stains, or soiling of vehicle interior
• Smoking or vaping in the vehicle
• Damage to vehicle equipment or upholstery

Cleaning fees start at $150 and damage repairs are billed at actual cost.

9. Service Limitations

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if:

• Passenger behavior is disruptive, threatening, or illegal
• Passenger appears intoxicated to a degree that may cause vehicle damage
• Passenger requests illegal activities
• Passenger exceeds vehicle capacity limits

10. Liability Limitations

• Our liability is limited to the fare paid for the service
• We are not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, road conditions, or other factors beyond our control
• We are not liable for missed flights due to circumstances beyond our control
• Personal belongings left in vehicles are not our responsibility, though we make reasonable efforts to return items

11. Insurance

All vehicles are fully insured and meet Illinois commercial transportation requirements. Drivers are licensed and background-checked.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control including severe weather, natural disasters, civil unrest, pandemics, or government actions.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
